We are thrilled to share the highlights of our recent capacity building and awareness event, which took place on February 7th at the Jafra Hotel in Kapseret. The event brought together a diverse group of individuals passionate about empowering women with disabilities and promoting inclusivity within our community.

The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including self-advocacy, group advocacy, leadership development, and health education. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants gained valuable insights and skills to enhance their personal and professional lives.

The event was a tremendous success, thanks to the dedication and commitment of our participants, volunteers, and partners. Together, we took significant strides toward creating a more inclusive and equitable society for all.

As we reflect on the impact of this event, we are inspired to continue our efforts to empower and uplift women with disabilities. Through ongoing advocacy, education, and community engagement, we remain steadfast in our mission to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their abilities.

Stay tuned for more updates on our ‘Women’s Rights, Disability Right- a Unified Advocacy Initiative’ initiatives and how you can get involved in making a difference in the lives of women with disabilities in our community. Together, we can build a more inclusive and supportive world for all.
